If you’ve made up your mind and don’t want to wait another 10 days to vote in the federal election on September 20, advance polls are now open.

Polls are now open daily this weekend and Monday from 9am-9pm.

Those hoping to cast their ballots quickly will need to bring their voter card, an approved ID and perhaps, most importantly, their own pen or pencil.

That’s one of several COVID-19 safety measures in place for electors.

Voters will also need to bring masks but they will be at polling stations should they forget them.
