The day after the Liberal leader was hit by gravel as he boarded the campaign bus in London, Justin Trudeau says he is not going to let ”the mob” steer his campaign.
During a stop in Montreal today, Trudeau said the protesters who surrounded the bus were ”practically foaming at the mouth.”
”We will not let them win.  They will not interfere with the way this election is presenting a clear choice to Canadians,” he added.
Trudeau said he spoke with the RCMP after the incident and will leave the possibility of charges up to the police.
London police say they’ve opened an investigation.
The other major party leaders also condemned the incident.
Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole says ”we live in a great democracy and let’s act like we do.”
The NDP’s Jagmeet Singh he cannot imagine he’s saying it in 2021.
”Don’t throw stones at people because you disagree with them.  That is basic.”
