Toronto Mayor John Tory has written to all major party leaders out on the campaign trail with what he’s hoping they’ll deliver to the city.

Tory says the leaders received the letter yesterday and hopes to hear from them.

The letter lists priorities like housing, transit and support for expanding mental health. He would also like continuing assistance in funding the safe restart of the city at the end of the pandemic.

Tory says he won’t get involved in the election as he’s non-partisan but he won’t hesitate to say which platform he believes is in Toronto’s best interests.

On the campaign trail today, both Liberal leader Justin Trudeau and Conservative Erin O’Toole are in Manitoba, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is in Saskatchewn. Green Party leader Annamie Paul remains in Toronto.
