Ontario is reporting another 325 new cases of COVID-19 but no new deaths from the virus.
Locally, 90 of the new cases in Toronto, 47 are in Peel Region, 29 in York Region, 29 in Hamilton and 26 in Windsor-Essex.
The latest update sees the seven-day rolling average jump to 283 new cases up from 237 yesterday.
A week ago, the seven-day rolling average of new cases in Ontario was at 196.
The latest rise in cases comes as Canada has opened the land borders with the U.S. to American travellers who are fully vaccinated against the virus.
The province also reported another 29,949 vaccine doses have been administered–bringing the total to 19,902,159.
