SHARON STONE HONOURED FOR SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE ARTS

Sharon Stone broke down in tears as she was named a Commander Of The Order Of Arts And Letters at the Cannes Film Festival this week.

The 63-year-old who appears on the April/May edition of Zoomer Magazine was given the honour that recognizes significant contributions to the arts or literature.

The actress also recently released a book about her life called The Beauty Of Living Twice.

Stone suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and stroke in 2001 but has made a full recovery.

After her award in Cannes, 70-year-old actor and friend Bill Murray was there to congratulate Stone.
