ONTARIO POSTS FEWER THAN 200 NEW COVID-19 CASES FOR SECOND STRAIGHT DAY

Ontario is reporting 179 new cases of COVID-19. It’s the second-straight day with fewer than 200 cases reported.

For this latest update, there were nearly 23,700 tests completed in the province.

Locally, 32 of the new cases are in Waterloo, 27 in Grey Bruce, 23 in Toronto, 21 in Peel and 16 in Hamilton.

The vaccination rate continues to move along quickly. To date, 16,827,434 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, including 207,507 doses administered on Friday.
