The city of Toronto is making walk-in vaccinations available at four of its clinics, including Toronto Congress Centre that opened to walk-ins on Thursday.
Beginning Saturday July 10, walk-ins are welcome to anyone 18 and older at Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Hangar and Cloverdale Mall in addition to the Toronto Congress Centre.
First and second mRNA doses will be available at the mass vaccination sites daily from noon to 7 p.m. A health card is not needed for the appointments, only a piece of government identification.
The expansion comes as the province pushed to reach all residents who have yet to receive their first dose of vaccine.
As of Friday, 78 per cent of adults in the province had a first dose and 52 per cent were fully vaccinated.
