PAUL BERNARDO DENIED PAROLE A 2ND TIME

It took less than an hour for the Parole Board of Canada to reject rapist and killer Paul Bernardo’s second bid for parole.
The families of victims Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy, as well as a survivor of another attack, strongly opposed his release during a hearing.
The decision means no day or full parole.
”You remain to be a high risk for sexual reoffending,” said the board and he told officers he was a changed person who now have his sexual deviancy under control.
Bernardo, now 56, was convicted in 1995 of kidnapping, torturing and killing 14-year-old Leslie Mahaffy in June 1991 and 15-year-old Kristen French the following April.

Relatives of his victims say Bernardo, a designated dangerous offender, remain adamant he should never be allowed out of prison.
