Massey Hall is set to reopen in November after major renovations. And some big names are set to perform when the historic music venue reopens.  Fittingly, Canadian iconic singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot will be the first to perform in the building some call the “House of Gord”.

In addition to Gordon Lightfoot, other artists to take the stage include  Buffy Sainte-Marie and Broken Social Scene.

Fittingly, Lightfoot is the first of the trio to perform in late November and was the last artist to perform at Massey Hall in July 2018 before the major renovations. He’ll play three consecutive shows Nov. 25 through Nov. 27 just after his 83th birthday November 17.

The 127-year-old performance space was closed for a a three year extensive restoration.
