It’s hard to believe that it’s been 40-years since the world embraced an archeology professor with a whip, a leather jacket and a fedora.
On June 12th, 1981 “Raiders of the Lost Ark” opened in North American theatres starring Harrison Ford as Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones.
“Raiders of the Lost Ark” went on to be the highest grossing film of 1981 and won five Oscars in the process.
As we told you earlier this week, Ford, who is now 78, is back on set shooting the 5th installment in the “Raiders” franchise.
