After a lot of confusion Tuesday as people who got their first dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine between March 10th and 19th tried to book a second shot, there now seems to be a more clarity in how to get an appointment.
Justin Bates, CEO of the Ontario Pharmacists Association, says you can now enter your postal code on the Ontario booking site and find a pharmacy near you offering second doses.
Some 90,000 people who got their first AstraZeneca shot between the 10th and 19th of March became eligible this week, but there are only 45,000 doses available initially. These are the ones with an expiry date of May 31st.
Several hundred thousand new doses will be available next week.
