A new poll shows the provincial PCs once strong lead in support is falling with both the NDP and Liberals making gains.
The Mainstreet Research survey shows Doug Ford’s PCs with 26% support with voters while the NDP and Liberals have 23 and 22% respectively with the Green Party at 5%.
20% of those polled are undecided. 1,047 people were surveyed in the poll with a margin of error of +/- 3% (19 times out of 20.)
Among decided voters, the PCs have 33%, the NDPs at 28, the Liberals at 27% and the Greens at 6%.
The Ford government has been criticized for its handling of the third wave where it started relaxing restrictions near the end of March only to reimpose a stay-at-home order in early April.
