Sixty years after winning an Oscar for her performance in West Side Story, 89 year old Rita Moreno returns to the musical.

This time, she plays store owner Valentina in the new Steven Spielberg version, which was teased at Sunday’s Academy Awards.

The film is a new take on Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s iconic musical that earned Moreno best supporting actress for portraying Anita.

Moreno is among the few performers to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony and also serves as an executive producer on the remake.

The film wrapped in 2019 and is expected in movie theatres in December.
