He was a founding member of the band “Poco” in the 1960s and enjoyed a string of hits with songs like “Crazy Love.”

Rusty Young played steel guitar with “Poco” for more than a half-century and was among the architects of the country-rock movement in California in late 1960s and early ’70s.

It was announced over the weekend that Young had died last week at his home in Davisville, Missouri.  His publicist said the cause was a heart attack.

Rusty Young was 75.
