It’s set to be a big week for COVID-19 vaccine deliveries in Canada.

According to the the Public Health Agency, some 3.3 million doses will be shipped by the participating pharmaceutical companies over the coming days.

Pfizer and BioNTech are scheduled to send nearly 1.2 million of their shots this week and Oxford-AstraZeneca another 1.5 million.

Moderna is expected to make good on its promised delivery of 600,000 shots this coming Thursday, about a week later than initially planned.

Starting Monday March 29th, ten more public health clinics in Ontario open appointments for those 70-plus. Here in the GTA, in addition to Toronto, York and Halton, residents of Peel Region who were born in 1951 and earlier may book an appointment.
