It’s on top of additional deliveries from Moderna, that are expected to result in 846,000 doses the week of March 22.
Canada received the first shipment of 500,000 from AstraZeneca March3.
The remaining 1.5-million are to arrive by mid-May.
An additional 20-million doses will beginning arriving in the spring.
There’s no timeline for deliveries from Johnson & Johnson.
Procurement Minister Anita Anand expects clearer delivery schedules from both those companies ”in the very near future.”
