More than 55-years after it was recorded and released, Sir Paul McCartney has come clean about the origin of “Another Girl.”
Sir Paul says the song was mostly written in a washroom in Tunisia while he took a break from the band and Beatlemania. It wasn’t the first time either. Sir Paul admits to finding his inspiration in washrooms, mostly because of the acoustics.
“Another Girl” is said to have been written about Paul’s girlfriend at the time Jane Asher. It was recorded for The Beatles’ 1965 album “Help!”
