They haven’t been an actual band since April of 1970, but the world’s fascination with the Beatles continues unabated.
Now, fans and historians will be able to earn a Masters Degree in Beatlemania at the University of Liverpool.
The program is called “The Beatles: Music Industry and Heritage.” It is aimed at students from around the world with an interest in the music and creative industries, as well as those employed in museums and galleries, the arts and tourism and leisure.
The course description says students will have the chance to visit and explore sites in Liverpool and area where the Fab Four spent their early years. They will also interact with the tourism and heritage sectors and hear from guest lecturers.
Applications are now being accepted.
