If you’ve never been, this could be your year. However, the King has already warned, “Only fools rush in.”
Graceland, the King’s estate in Memphis, Tennessee has announced plans for in-person events to mark Elvis Week in August. Live concerts, panel discussions, parties and tribute contests are all included.
The keystone event, the candlelight vigil past Presley’s grave, is back on with organizers planning to enforce public health protocols.
Last year, most of the events were held online because of the pandemic.
Elvis died 44 years ago this August at the age of 42.
