Here’s one sign the pandemic is easing, at least in Australia. The hit Canadian musical “Come From Away,” is back on stage in Melbourne.
“Come From Away,” which opened in Australia in July of 2019 is among the very first English-language large-scale theatre productions to reopen during the pandemic.
Community spread is almost non-existent in Australia after an extensive and successful lock down. As a result Victoria State is now allowing the live performing arts to return.
Mirvish Productions plans to resume performances of “Come From Away” in Toronto, just as a soon as conditions allow.
