OSCAR AND EMMY WINNER CLORIS LEACHMAN DIES

Best remembered as the delightful Phyllis Lindstrom on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” Cloris Leachman has died at her home in California.

The comedy icon was tied with Julia Louis-Dreyfus for winning the most acting Emmys ever, at eight.

Leachman also made her mark on the big screen, appearing in The Last Picture Show” in 1971, winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Her family says she died of natural causes.

Cloris Leachman was 94.
