Back in the ’70s they were the hottest disco act in the world.
Now, the lone surviving member of the Bee Gees, Barry Gibb, has released an album, which re-examines the group’s earlier music, this time with a country feel.
The now 74-year old singer, songwriter and music producer, says he’s long dreamed of a project that would bring him together with some of the artists he admires most.
His album “Greenfields – The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Volume One” features collaborations with the likes of Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Keith Urban and Olivia Newton-John.
Barry says says deep down, he feels his late brothers Maurice and Robin would have loved the album.
