The Dallas Symphony orchestra has locked up its music director through the 20-28-29 season.
Fabio Luisi’s contract as music director has been extended by five years.
Luisi, who turns 61 next week, was hired 2018 for the 2020-21 season.
He is in his final year as general music director of the Zurich Opera, a post he’s held since 2012.
