56 of her singles made the Billboard Hot 100 between 1962 and 1998 and 80 singles in total — either solo or collaboratively — made the Hot 100, R&B and/or adult contemporary charts.

She plans to celebrate her birthday with her annual holiday concert (this year online) that doubles as a fund raiser.

Proceeds from the concert are pledged to an organization called “Hunger Not Possible,” which feeds those in need.
