While it’s still unclear just ow many dozes of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will Ontario will get in the first shipment, you can be sure of one thing — some type of ”proof” card will be given to those who get their shots.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says this will be ”essential.”
”That will be very important for people to have, for travel purposes and perhaps work purposes or going to theatres or cinemas or any other places where people will be in close physical contact when we get through the worst of the pandemic,” said Elliott.
”So yes, that will be essential for people to have that.”
Elliott also says while vaccination will be voluntary, those who refuse to be vaccinated could be barred from some activities once things return to (a new) normal.
The province is also reportedly working on technology that will allow it to track who’s received two doses.
