The opposition Conservatives are expected to introduce a motion in the House of Commons Thursday demanding specific details of the Trudeau Liberals’ plan to distribute COVID-19 vaccines across the country.

“We’ll be asking for timelines for each of the possible vaccines, when they’ll be received, what the rate of use is expected, will we be getting 50,000 in the first few weeks?” Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole questioned.

O’Toole says Canadians need, and deserve, answers to questions about when they can expect to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and who can expect to receive the shots first.

So far, word is 6-million doses for 3-million Canadians will be delivered in the first three months of 2021; information confirmed on Zoomer Radio’s Fight Back with Libby Znaimer on Monday by the co-chair of Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine task force.

Federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu posted on Twitter, “the UK’s decision to green light the Pfizer vaccine (on Wednesday) is an encouraging step.”

While Health Canada’s review of the same candidate is ongoing, she says it is expected to be completed soon.

In another development, Commander of the Canadian Armed Forces General Jonathan Vance says he ordered his troops last week to be ready to pick up COVID-19 vaccines for Canadians in the U.S. and Europe on short notice.
