Ontario health officials acknowledge we’re into the second wave of COVID-19 and Premier Doug Ford says this wave will be more complicated, and worse than the first wave.
“Together, our collective actions will decide if we face a wave or tsunami, my friends, this is extremely, extremely serious,” Ford told reporters adding the rising number of cases is deeply concerning.

Chief Medical Officer of Health says so far it’s not a tsunami and Dr. David Williams underscores we’re better prepared than the first wave.
“Right now, if we anticipate if it keeps going we have to assume it could be a lot worse than the first wave especially if it’s the second scenario, more of the tsunami one, but so far, it doesn’t seem to be going that way,” said Dr. Williams. “We really have to hunker down.”
