Health Minister Christine Elliott says a technical glitch lead to the under-reporting of new COVID-19 cases Thursday.

“It has been rectified and we don’t expect it’s going to be happening again,” said Elliott. There were actually 345 new cases, up from the official report of 258. Elliott says 89 new cases in Toronto we not uploaded. The adjusted number means that the growth rate of new cases has been a steady 1.6 percent the past three days.
