The clocks move forward this weekend in most parts of the country for the start of Daylight Saving Time. Studies show the time change messes with our body clocks, but there are things we can do to ease the transition. Research psychologist Dr. Myriam Juda suggests a few tricks to make the transition less abrupt like going to bed a bit earlier starting two weeks before the clock changes. But she stresses the most important way to adjust, is seek morning light exposure as we adjust to waking up an hour earlier.

Saskatchewan doesn’t make the change to daylight saving time and this will be the last time that Yukon will spring forward.

Standard time returns on November first.
