Being late to catch the train can ruin your day. But calling 9-1-1- to ask police to help get you there on time won’t help!

Hard to believe but this is a real phone call made the Peel Regional Police dispatch.

This is part of that exchange.

“What would you like an officer to do,” the dispatcher asks.
“Do you guys offer emergency ride services or not?”
After a long pause, the dispatcher replies.
“I can assure you we don’t do that.”

Police have spoken with the woman, but didn’t lay any charges. Peel Regional Police released the audio on its twitter feed.
