NASA’s website today is carrying live images and stories about this historic day they’be dubbed “HERstory” that saw the first ever all female spacewalk.

The job of this world mission of astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir is to replace a broken battery charger outside the International Space Station. An earlier all female spacewalk was cancelled because of a clothing glitch. NASA couldn’t find the proper sized space suit, so a man had to take the place of the scheduled female astronaut.
