Lifelong gardener and horticulturist Harry Harry Jongerden is the executive director at Toronto Botanical Garden. He says novice to expert gardeners will draw inspiration from this year’s private backyard garden tour in the Beach. Garden blogger and writer Lorraine Hunter got serious about the hobby about 20 years ago, and is sharing her passion with her daughter and granddaughter. She doesn’t need to see the scientific evidence that gardening has been great for both her mental and physical health. Through the Garden Gate Tour is set for June 8 and 9 in The Beach.
