More than 20, 000 people are expected to take part in the Sporting Life 10K Run in downtown Toronto on Sunday.
The run is aimed at raising money for Camp Ooch, a special camp for children with cancer.
Road were set to begin at 4:30a.m. as police blocked off sections of Yonge Street, Richmond Street, Jarvis Street and Adelaide.
Those closures are expected to remain in place until about 12:30p.m. Sunday.
