A Canadian is one of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World”.
Ottawa-born actress Sandra Oh has been named to the list along with Taylor Swift and Dwayne “The Rock Johnson”.
Oh won a Golden Globe award earlier this year for her role in the series “Killing Eve”.
Screenwriter Shonda Rhimes describes Oh as a virtuoso who treats dialogue like musical notes and who’s dramatic well is endless.
The 47-year-old joins some other big names including Michelle Obama, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President of the United States Donald Trump.
