LEGENDARY 'TAPPER' AND ACTOR GREGORY HINES HONOURED WITH STAMP

The late, great Gregory Hines is being honoured by the U.S. Postal Service.

The Black Heritage Series stamp was unveiled Monday at the Peter Norton Symphony Space in New York.

Hines, who was known for his smooth, unique style of tap, won a Tony Award in 1992 for “Jelly’s Last Jam”.

Gregory Hines died of cancer in 2003 at age 57.
