The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Crisp and Delicious brand Chicken Breast Nuggets due to possible Salmonella contamination.

The raw, breaded nuggets were sold in 1.6 kg packages with a best before date of July 19th, 2019.

They were distributed by Sofina Foods Inc. in Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec and possibly other provinces.

If you find the nuggets in your freezer you can either return them to the store for a refund or simply throw them out.

The CFIA says the recall was triggered by findings from its investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak.
