Frustrated drivers stranded on a snowy Highway 1 in Alberta got an unexpected treat this week. Award-winning trumpet soloist Jens Lindemann grabbed his trumpet and stood out in the cold and his performance was truly Canadian, serenading the stranded motorists with a rendition of O Canada, followed by a sports inspired song that inspired the drivers to get in on the mini concert with their horns. The stranded motorists later learned the trumpet player is a Grammy nominated and order of Canada recipient who has taken the stage at Carnegie Hall and played for the Queen. Lindemann is an experienced Albertan and says he was careful to us a plastic mouthpiece to keep anything from freezing to his trumpet.WATCH HERE
