Mayor John Tory says he’s “damn mad about this stuff” thats going on with bad guys and guns on the streets of Toronto.

It follows a shooting in the city’s busy entertainment district early Saturday night that saw two men killed and a woman sent to hospital with injuries.

Bystanders ran for their lives in all directions.

Tory says Toronto is a safe city, but gang violence, as well as repeat offenders are threatening that safety.

The mayor says he’s had conversations with Police Chief Mark Saunders about the violence, and knows his officers are working hard to round up the bad guys and get them off the streets.
