Oprah Winfrey has reached a deal with Apple to provide original programs for the tech giant’s about-to-be-launched streaming servce.
It’s a multi-year deal where the program content will be released worldwide.
Apple says it will be part of a lineup of original content.
Neither Oprah nor Apple have said what kind of programming it will be.
The new streaming service will be competing with Netflix and Amazon.
Oprah founded, and heads her “OWN” nework where she has an exclusive ‘on-camera” deal, but she can also appear elsewhere on a limited basis.
