In health news, the largest study ever done on breast cancer treatment suggests most women with the most common form of the disease can skip chemotherapy. The study of more than 10-thousand women found that of the 67 per cent of patients at intermediate risk of recurring cancer, chemotherapy made no difference in life span or a return of the disease. Cancer care has been evolving away from chemotherapy in favour of gene-targeting therapies, hormone blockers and immune system treatments.
