Entertainer and pot entrepreneur Snoop Dogg is praising Canada’s pending legalization of recreational marijuana.

Speaking at a conference in Montreal Friday, Snoop Dog says Canada is more advanced than the U-S in its approach to pot. He has a significant presence in Canada’s burgeoning marijuana industry with an investment in  Toronto-based Trellis, a cannabis inventory management software provider..and he’s also signed a partnership deal with Ontario based Canopy Growth for exclusive rights to use certain content and brands owned by Snoop’s company.
