After claiming for years that eggs contribute to high cholesterol, a new study has found what you eat is not the main driver of high cholesterol. Researchers in China studied more than 500,000 people over the course of four years and found one egg per day could actually improve cardiovascular health. Those who ate an egg per day had a 26 per cent lower risk of stroke and a 12 per cent reduction in the risk of heart disease.
