A new poll done after last week’s provincial budget that pumps 20 billion dollars  in new investment shows that while the PC’s still lead with 36 percent support, the Liberals are close at 29 percent and the NDP trail with 26 percent. The Forum Research results show a significant shift from the the firm’s last poll done shortly after Doug Ford was elected leader of the PC party. Forum president Lorne Bozinoff  says don’t count the Liberals out just yet as there’s a long way to go until June 7th. The results also show that 53 percent approve of the Liberal’s plan for free daycare and 61 percent support the 65 + pharmacare plan.Meantime, political experts say  the Liberal government is taking a totally different financial approach than the Liberal government in neighbouring Quebec. Both governments are doling out billions in their final budgets before upcoming provincial elections. But while Quebec’s budget balances the books, Ontario’s plan will plunge the province back into deficit.
