Showbusiness veteran Nanette Fabray has died at the age of 97.

Fabray died Thursday of natural causes at her home in Palos Verdes, California.

She grew up in Hollywood, and as a Vaudeville child star, was known as “Baby Nan.”

Her career on Broadway as a singer and dancer began at the age of 21, and she appeared on screen with Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse in “The Band Wagon,” a 1953 MGM musical.

Many Zoomers will remember her in the early years of television as comic Sid Caesar’s sidekick.

When Caesar’s partner Imogene Coca left his “Your Show of Shows” in 1954, he hired Fabray to be his partner on “Caesar’s Show.”

A contract dispute caused her to leave the show after just two years, but she won three Emmys for her work.
