Good news for parents. If your kids lack empathy, it’s not your fault!
A new study says younger siblings play a role in developing empathy—but the older ones get all the credit. The study finds that both older and younger siblings positively influence each other’s compassion over time. Older siblings have always been credited for being the role model for younger siblings. Researchers were shocked to find that even children under 3 play a meangingful role in shaping empathy in older siblings.
