There’s actually a Hall of Fame for seniors.
The Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame every year honours people 60 and older who have made a lasting impact on their communities, professions or vocations.
Only those born in Ohio or who have been residents for at least ten years can be nominated to enter the Hall.
In the past,. those nominated have fincluded health care professionals, volunteers, athletes, educators and entertainers.
This year the Hall is extending its deadline for nominees to be submitted.
Since it began in 1978, over 450 Ohioans have been inducted into the Hall.
