You may want to check out the new Eglinton Crosstown LRT even if you aren’t planning to take transit. Some of the stops along the new corridor will feature public art – 10 millon dollars worth! In fact, Metrolinx says there will be eight art installations at six of the line’s 25 stops that have been integrated into the station’s design. The Eglinton LRT is city’s first new stand alone rapid transit line in almost twenty years. The art details will be announced Tuesday morning at the Ontario Science Centre stop at Don Mills and Eglinton.
