In a statement, Maple Leafs president Brendan Shanahan says “there may not be a more loved Toronto Maple Leaf nor a former player who loved them as much back.” The two-time Vezina Trophy-winner played 475 regular-season games and also won four Stanley Cups for the Leafs. Former Leaf captain Darryl Sittler says Johnny never slowed down over the years,  attending countless community events. Johnny Bower was a guest on Zoomer Radio’s Naz and Wally sportshour last May.
