In the words of the Friendly Giant, “look up, look way up.” A treat Sunday night as a super-moon will appear in the night skies, when the moon is at it’s closest approach to the Earth. If you’re stuck under clouds Sunday night, don’t worry. While it’s the only showing this year, you don’t have to wait long to see it again. It’s the first of three appearances of the bright moon, with two more coming on New Year’s Eve and January 31st. Sunday’s super-moon will shine brighter and about fifteen-percent larger than usual.
