U.S. President Donald Trump claims that Time Magazine told him he was probably going to be named their Person Of The Year for 2017, but he said “no thanks”

Trump says Time told him that he would have to allow them an interview and photo sessions ahead of the publication of the special, Person Of The Year edition.

Trump says he told them “probably” was no good, and says he “took a pass.”

But Time says that didn’t happen. The newsmagazine says it never comments on the year-end feature and its choice with anyone until the day the special issue is published.
